I wore these boots for the first time in Switzerland in the winter. They are very warm and cozy and good in the snow. I had to return the first pair because of a manufacturer's defect on a seam in the back, but I received replacement with no problems. Hope the new pair will hold out!

I gave my daughter 5 choices of boots to choose from and she picked these. I bought a pair a half-size bigger than her regular size, based on others' comments. She thinks they fit fine. The soles are sturdy with a good grip on snow, slush and ice. They look nice with skinny jeans tucked inside and are fine with snow bibs too.

I live in the Blue Mountains NSW Australia and I have found these boots to be warm, comfy and kept my feet dry. I brought them for standing around at my kids frosty morning soccer games and cold cold training nights.

These are not fashion boots. But winter is not a time to be vain. I wear them with pants, I wear them with dresses. Why? Because if I have wet socks, I hate the world. And, with these boots, I don't have wet socks. Snow or rain. I can wear thin socks with these boots because the thick socks I'd normally wear aren't needed. These boots have sole! Actually, the tread on these boots are beefer than the tread on my vehicle! The drawstring is great for keeping out the weather. Never suffered "new shoe" syndrome with these boots. Extremely comfortable and surprisingly light on the foot. Buy a pair for you and those that you love.

This winter boot was the answer to my search (calling it Spring Step is seasonally misleading!): waterproof and good in snow but easy to clean and not damaged by salt, not too heavy for comfort when temps are cold but not frigid; fits under long pant legs with lacing to tighten on top. So far with limited use these boots are working as hoped and planned.
