Product Description (Women's Spring Step Maiden)

This casual open toe slide has top stitching details, and studs with embroidery to accent the throat. It's fine European leather upper is done in a distressed finish to accent the casual styling, and is also lined in leather, which is padded for extra softness on the foot. The leather sock liner is attached to the polyurethane outsole via whip-stitching, and is plushly padded. 2" wedge heel. Made in Europe.

My number one priority in a shoe is comfort. The Spring Step Maiden sandal is exceptionally comfortable in every way. It is also really cute and I receive compliments whenever I wear this uniquely attractive shoe.

I love my Spring Step maiden shoes. They're the most comfy shoes I own. I work ten hour shifts on my feet and do not like closed-toe shoes. The Spring Step is stylish and also a work shoe. It's got great quality.

Very Comfortable, but a Bit Tight August 27, 2009

This shoe is very attractive and great for extensive walking. My feet never get tired in them. I'm really annoyed, however, at how my pinkie toe on each foot is squished inside the leather over the top of the shoe. I've had my feet measured for width, and they are "normal," not "wide." Perhaps they are wider than that of the average person given the other reviews I see here. Still, I think there is a problem with the craftsmanship on this shoe. With the first pair I received, the leather piece on top was sewn 1/4" narrower at the bottom (part closest to heel) on the left shoe than the right. The second pair I got felt better in this area but tighter at the top of the leather piece (part closest to toes) on the right shoe, which had not been the case with the first pair. I had similar shoes from Fly Flot once (a sister company to Spring Step I believe), and the width was too narrow on them as well, although I did keep two pairs of leather flip flops from Fly Flot that I love.
Wears this shoe: Walking around the city, with pants and casual skirts.
