Love the boots!!

These are my 2nd pair of boots I have purchased from Spring Step. I am in love with the L'Artiste brand. The boot is comfortable. The heel height is perfect for me at 2". I can't wear the really high heels anymore. Bad knees are no fun! They are beautiful high quality boots. Absolutely worth the money. Buy some waterproof repellent spray and some polish for the leather and they will stay beautiful for a long time.

Disappointed.

Beautiful boots! Very comfortable out of the box and I was extremely pleased with my purchase at first. However with little wear, only twice, the boots began to show significant signs of wear with cracking and peeling on various parts of both shoes. The company was very easy to contact and get a refund.

Vamp (front of the boot) is not made of leather, synthetic material is cracking and peeling after...

Have been wearing L'artist shoes and booties for years and all have vamps/front of boots made of leather. While the description for the Sunsetride states the upper is made of leather and synthetic, I never imagine the front was not leather. Your foot flexes as you walk and the upper front lightly creases, very normal and fine if it is made of leather, but this synthetic material cracked just below the stitches, and plastic cover pieces are falling off, exposing the lining underneath. It looks like will continue to crack all the way, from side to side. Seriously, I just wore it four times! This is truly sad and unwarranted since the bootie is well made and so comfortable. Will be contacting Spring Step for a refund.

Both beautiful and comfortable

I loved the fit of the shoe. It was just large enough that I could add an insole insert of foamy goodness. I never thought I'd add combat boot style to my boot collection but these are so adorable, not at all what I pictured combat-ish boots to look like. Now I have both beauty and walking on a cloud. I had to "Lor" my boots out because I absolutely love bling. So, goldy, glittery shoe laces and crystal bling were added. Perfect. :P

Bought these boots to wear for a trip and they held up really well. Overall great quality. Decent heel and arch support, and the toe box is wide enough to prevent any issues with toes rubbing. Boots are true to size as well. Overall I definitely recommend these!
