Great Boots

I got the red ones and absolutely love them. You can dress them up or down. Really wanted the green also but they were sold out.

They broke day one

I wore these for less than one day and one of the grommets popped off when I went to re tie them. I sent them back and am awaiting a refund.

Fourth pair of L’artiste boots!

My foot is 9 3/8 inches long and just shy of 4 inches wide at the ball of my foot, with all my weight on that foot—I get a 38 in L’artiste and they fit me great, with room for a thin cotton sock—but they also work well for tights (which I wear a lot). These boots are not only colorful* and fun—like all my L’artiste boots—but they are well-crafted, smooth on the inside, comfortable from the first wearing, with a metal zipper that slides smoothly. The heel height is good for me, giving a bit of lift without feeling unstable—with the added plus of being quiet, because I hate hearing my own footsteps. I typically walk a LOT—miles!—in a given day, so I need a dependable shoe—and that is why I return to L’artiste over and over! I wear them with skirts, pants and dresses, and the above-ankle length is versatile for every hemline. If these boots hold up the way my first three pair have (my oldest are almost five years old and still going strong!), these boots will be a complete winner in every category. * I had been wanting a “true” green boot for quite a while, and these are emerald green—NOT olive, NOT forest, but a vivid, rich jewel tone green.

Sharp and compfy

Good looking and very comfortable, fits true to size, easy on, easy off. The sole is good for walking. I love the zipper, no need to lace up each time, adjust the first time of wearing---done!
