The art work on both inside heels started rubbing off after the very first wear with very nominal usage.

Normally, for me, many of the L'Artiste shoes run smaller. But this pair was true to size for me. Fit like a dream. There was a smell on opening, but it aired out in a couple of days. I added green satin shoe laces to match and absolutely love them!

These boots are as stunningly beautiful in real life as they are in the pictures. One thing the description doesn’t mention is that the painted floral part of the boot has a sort of velvety texture. It was clear to me that this would rub off easily and then the pattern would be faded or nonexistent. I walk or bike around the city so I need my boots to hold up to some scuffing and wear and still look good. I ended up returning these. They also had a powerful odor - smelled like a gas station or something. I was told the smell would fade over time but since I was also concerned about the durability of the materials I returned them anyway. Just a thing to be aware of if you’re sensitive to that kind of thing.

I love my boots. This is the second pair that I purchased in just two months. I get so many compliments when wearing them. They are comfortable and fit me.

When I opened my box this morning, I couldn’t believe how beautiful these boots are. I’ve been walking around the house in them and they are super comfortable. They fit true to size … super chic and stylish!!! … the fabric pattern is so elegant… another fabulous addition to my ever growing collection ❤️

I’ve been a Spring Step/L’Artiste customer for a few years now and I’m always very happy with my purchases. The quality and designs of their shoes keep me coming back. These boots are more beautiful in person. I was worried about the toe box area because of my bunions but I had no problem wearing them right out of the box. Highly recommend.

I’m a big fan of these boots! I was nervous obout the subtle velvet texture and wearing them outside, but I’ve been wearing them a few months now and no issues at all. The floral print is very pretty, and the detail on the heel adds a unique touch. They’re very sturdy and well made, but not at all uncomfortably so. The super soft, low-pile, faux fur lining means I can wear them with tights and still stay cozy. They’re supportive and the sole is moderately cushioned so I’m comfortable in them all day. Definitely would purchase again!

Yes, they smell terrible out of the box. Let them air out somewhere and wear them. It goes away in a couple days. Other than that, I love this boot! Comfortable out of the box and the heel isn't too high. Got many compliments day one, because they are amazing! 👢 Shipping was fast, check out was was easy. I'll definitely be buying from Spring Step Shoes again.

This boot is perfect! fits my normal size of 7 1/2 med and plenty of room in the toe if I want to wear a thin sock. I bought the color that has the rust color toe - goes with many things.

I love these boots, very comfortable and unique. Perfect for for my usual size. The workmanship is impressive. The colors are vivid and lovely details on the flowers. They did have a strong odor that took a few days to dissipate. I'm looking forward to wearing them this Fall.
