They are so comfortable! And cute! Love them!

Most comfortable Boot I ever purchased.

Based on the other reviews, I ordered a size up because so many people said they ran small. I’m usually 6&1/2 or 7 in US sizes but the sz 38 boots ended up being too big. They would work with thick socks but I wanted them for spring/fall. Luckily, I had paid the $7 return insurance and was able to exchange them for a 37. The customer service rep was great. I have narrow feet and they fit perfectly with thinner socks. Anyone with wider feet may still want to size up. I did replace the stretchy laces, but otherwise am happy with them. They are sturdy but stylish, and the purple color is so fun!

I was hesitant to buy after reading about issues in reviews, however they are gorgeous & fit well. I followed the advice of some reviewers to size up & the fit is good. I’m a 71/2, but sized up to 81/2 & they fit well, real close to my usual size. So size up, they are worth it. Have worn them extensively & are quite comfy. Need to invest in an ortho insole, just because I have high arches. Love the purple & get many compliments, so they are a keeper. Thanks Spring Step for another great pair of footwear!

I absolutely love my purple (truly eggplant) Hoyleins!!! Nothing like purple sneaker/combat boots. I normally were an EU 38 or a 39 EU if an item runs narrow in the toe box or small/short. But following the advice from other reviews and from experiences on purchases of similar boots with Spring Step, I purchased a 40 EU. They’re fabulous.I did add additional arch support. But that was by choice.

Very comfortable bootie. The little pull tab on the back is nice looking but non functional. One little tug and it will come apart. Other than that I’m very pleased with this item.

I loved the boots and ordered them. Your site said they run small so size up. I usually wear a 7 or 7.5 so I ordered the 7.5/8. They were definitely too small, very disappointed. I had to return them.

I loved the look of this boot. The zippers are great, the low heal and color options, but when they arrived and I tried them on they were not comfortable. I was expecting a lot more from this brand because I have a few pairs of their shoes and they are pretty comfortable.

great. size up one-half

I bought these ankle boots in a gorgeous shade of green. They are the right fit for my feet and ankles. I did add some different orthotics to accommodate my foot and back issues.

The reason for the 3* rating is the fit of my big toe. I sized up but still had the same problem. I have small feet and always stay in within the range of size 36/37. I tried both sizes. The 36 is not wearable because the big toe was smashed! The 37 is wearable but still somewhat uncomfortable. I measured the height of my big toe and it is < 3/4" and I don't have any problem with any other shoes in this area.. I love the purple color and will keep the 37s but would not be inclined to buy this shoe in another color. The double zipper is a really nice feature and I like the feel and look of the boot other wise.

I thought these would be a bit stylish. They're comfy. But at least on me, they look very clunky. Not my thing.

I love these boots. You do have to size up. They fit perfectly and are very comfortable when you do. I am a 7 1/2. I took the advice of other reviewers and bought and love the 39. In fact, I ordered a second color. Every time I wear them, someone says I love your boots. Quality product. Flattering look.

These boots are comfortable and fun! I love the purple. Perfect for that day when you feel like being a little funky.

I absolutely love these boots! The two zippers makes putting them on easy, especially for a senior year, which I am. I’ve gotten a number of compliments from young people who want to where I got them. BTW I bought two pair different colors.

I am a size 10 and wear a 42 in the regular Spring Step line and a 41 in the L’artiste line. The 42 gives me enough length but makes the boot very roomy. The zippers make it easy to get on and off, and the purple leather is gorgeous. The laces are strangely stretchy, which means the shoes feel looser. I’ll be replacing them.

The boots are very nice, but this is the second purchase where the sizing was off. The comments said the boots run small. I bought the bigger size. They were too big so I ordered my usual size, and they fit fine. Fortunately there is very good customer service, and it was easy to return the too big boots.But, really…who doesn’t need purple combat boots?

Comfortable, great looking and easy to wear. I sized up as recommended and they fit perfectly.

There simply is not enough well engineered and fabricated purple footwear on the market! Thank you Springstep! I adore these purple boots. I should buy a second pair in the same color...I know I will wear these out! Yes, i can strut in comfort and dtyle!
