Honestly, I don’t know what has happened to Spring Step, but their quality of shoes is just not the same as it used to be. These shoes are cute, but it really feels like the platform is made of hard plastic. There is a hard ridge all around the side of the footbed that digs into my feet because lack of padding ( I guess). In the past I could wear Spring Step shoes all day, and I can only wear these for a couple of hours. I honestly don’t think I will be buying Spring Step shoes anymore. I’m sad they bought Bzees, which used to be the most comfortable shoes I ever owned.

I have these in beige and cognac and they are really nice looking with shorts and are very comfortable right out of the box. So when I saw they had gone on sale, I bought a pair in black too. You can't have too many pairs of black shoes!!

I've had these for a few months now and I can honestly say that I reach for these more than I thought I would. The slate blue color really compliments jeans and even though I prefer a little more bling on my footwear these are just so classy and stylish. They are extremely comfortable, and they make that "clip clop" noise like wearing heels. I find that to be so feminine. The cut-out band across my toes makes my feet look neat and put together - elevated more so than a thong style sandal does if that makes sense...I find the wedge height to be perfect for my 5'2" frame and the fit is perfect. I have a 6-1/2 - 7 foot size and I chose the 7. It's been pretty warm this summer, but I didn't find my foot sweaty in this footbed as others have stated. To be fair I do work in A/C and don't spend huge amounts of time sweltering outside. I like this online store. Looking back at my purchase history I tend to put a new pair of shoes every season for here and I really look forward to seeing what is new and different. Overall, I would recommend these, and I am considering the ivory pair for next Spring season.
