Wonderfully soft and ready to wear out of the box. Wore mine to a 2 hour parade and had no issues. The leather was uniformly soft and pliable, so I had no problem with my ankles getting blistered. This is a big deal for me.Really great shoes and I highly recommend them!

Comfortable and well made shoes!

I wore these Arthur shoes for a full day of teaching right of of the box with no break-in time. My feet were comfortable and nicely cushioned after spending about 10 hours on my feet. They are supple, extremely light, and have great cushioning and support.
