L'Artiste Dezi : Purple

Love this style! I bought in Purple and Natural. Adorable detail to these flats. I did size up in these from my normal 8 ... the natural I went up a whole size, which was a bit to much, so in the purple, I went 1/2 size bigger with 8.5 and that was perfect.

**First, please note these run small, so size up. The toe box turns up a bit, which causes the shoe to run short. For reference : I usually wear an 8 (38) in L'Artiste but in their Dezi style I ordered an 8.5 (39) in Purple & a 9 (40) in Ivory. The 39, for me, were the best fit. The 40 was a bit too big all over, but adding an insert made a big difference. I ordered the Ivory and the Purple Dezi's and the shoes are just darling, not to mention well made and comfortable. The Purple is an Eggplant, with the flower having variances in the color. The same with the Ivory, the flower has many hues around the edges of the flower. Love these shoes!

On the website, the little graph showed true to size. I don’t see down below that the recommendation was to order up - so I’ve reordered. Excited to get them. They’re gorgeous!!

Too Short! Stars are lower due to the fit. Five stars for style.

I went up 1 size (usually wear an 8.5 to 9) and went to a 41 (9.5 /10) and it was still too short in length. I guess the other reviewers were correct. I just really wanted them to work as they are unique and seem like they'd be comfy, if they fit correctly. I guess if you are a true 8, order the 9.5/10 or the 41. That would be my advice.

I w as looking for a simple shoe to wear with leggings and this fit the bill. I do wish that the heel was higher, though. I am a perfect 10 (laser measured ) but had to return and get an 11. I wish China-made shoes would be taken into account when L’artiste sizes their shoe.

L’Artise shoes

I love the color, sort of an aqua blue. They are very comfortable but I did put an orthotic in them because they run very short and I sized up one whole size. Having to order them to fit in length they are a bit wider than I would prefer. I have very narrow feet so the orthotic really helps.
