These L'Artiste MUGGIASTI Shoes are beautiful shoes. I bought the black multi from Nordstrom.com size 39. I was afraid to buy size 38 as I am a solid size 8. Size 39 is quite roomy. It is a European shoe, so the toe box is wider. With a light-weight sock, I cannot lace the shoe any tighter. This may come in handy with fall approaching. While L'Artiste MUGGIASTI Shoes are beautiful, there is little to no support. I am going to have to buy a pair of arch supports. As another review stated, I wish they made these with a thicker sole. I would prefer a "lug-type" sole. I just received them, so I have not worn them other than to try on the shoes. The sole appears to be non-slip. I want to buy more especially with the Labor Day Sale, but I need to wear them at work first.

Fell in love with these from the photos, and the real thing did not disappoint. Very comfortable, no breaking period, excellent workmanship, true to size. I get compliments all the time! Another perfect buy from SpringStep L’Artiste!

Overall, these have been comfortable and are a lovely change from plain black oxfords. They do seem to run a bit large even though I have a wide foot and ordered my usual SpringStep size. I will agree with one other reviewer that the sole seems a bit thin compared to the quality of other shoes I've purchased. I suppose I expected something a bit more sturdy.

I love the look, and the feel of the shoe is great. I received a lot of complements when I wore the shoes. I have turned so many of my friends to the website because they loved my shoes. I will continue to spread the love to the website and the Lanscater store when people ask. They are super cute ! Runs a little small .

I am a huge fan of L’Artiste shoes. I have way too many of them. These were unavailable for a while so I was excited to see them. Overall they are cute but not as comfortable as previous shoes in this brand. The sole feels a little thin and almost unbalanced. They feel cheaper than they were, which isn’t typical with this brand. I still love the look and will get lots of use out of them.

They are the most comfortable shoes I own to wear with jeans. I get so many compliments! I purchased the black ones and they look great.

Very painful. I trusted that ordering a size up would fit. I was wrong. Unfortunately I wore them to work and now I can’t return them. So these beautiful shoes are sitting on my kitchen table, taunting me. The hole they made in my heel will take months to heal.

The shoe itself was quite beautiful, however the footbed was extremely narrow. I have a very standard footbed, neither narrow nor wide, and my arch was extended well past the arch bed of the shoe.

Unfortunately I had to return this shoe. I was unable to wear the shoe due to a recent knee fracture which caused my foot to swell.

Comfortable and lots of complements too. I love them. They're well made and they make me smile!

I wish they were a bit more contoured in the instep - they bulge out a wee bit when the foot bends. I also think the multicolored stitching would be better if It was simply black.
