The soles are comfortable however the top part is not. I have tried adjusting the straps multiple times but they still rub and scratch the top of my feet. Also, where the pieces around the sole are glued, not the best job and more imperfections than I would prefer. I really wanted to love these.

My black pair came unglued. I took them to a shoe repair and was told that they were defective...the material was too shoet to fit under the platform :(I'd like a replacement pair

I found the bronze color to be beautiful. The fit is true to size.The strapping on top is very thin leather and because of the sharp edges, my feet hurt me immediately. Unfortunately, had to return.

Unable to adjust straps to tighten fit enough for good fit. Consequently, kinda loose which is uncomfortable to wear.

I wanted to love these shoes because they were a great price and super comfortable. The synthetic material looks like leather but squeaks when you walk. Real leather doesn’t do that.

Earlier this summer, I tore ligaments in my ankle in a fall and ended up in an aircast brace and wrap and on crutches for several weeks. Initially, my injured foot was basically bare as I couldn’t wear any of my regular shoes over the brace and wrap and it was even very difficult to put a sock on it. Luckily, I found these terrific slides! As they had the adjustable strap, I found that they would go on my foot with the brace. I ended up buying them in black, white, navy and tan to match the different shoes that I wore on my good foot. I wore one of them every day for work with different dress shoes and sandals. I also wore them with different casual shoes at other times. The slides fit comfortably with the brace and wrap and they provided some protection to my foot, especially if I needed to put it on the ground. The cross straps held it securely on my foot while I was crutching, but it was still easy and painless to put the slide on and slip it off if I wanted to. I also liked looking down and seeing my injured foot wearing a nice shoe instead of just being bare. A few days later, I went back and bought the red slides to go with a red pump I like to wear. I wore that to a big social event and received lots of complements. It was wonderful how so many people noticed this and complemented me on how I was dealing with my situation and not letting it get me down. My husband said many times that my bandaged foot looked cute in the slides! I actually grew to enjoy picking my outfit and shoes each day and the complements I would receive. This was good as had to be on crutches for eight weeks.
