This is my 5th pair of L’Artiste boots. A higher boot but still comfortable to wear all day. This boot receives many compliments and I equate it to wearing an Art Exhibit! Have it in brown and just ordered the black.

The alphabets around the shoes are easy to miss. I bought the camel color. Every confident woman shall own a pair of these sunflower shoes. The height of the shoes did concern me, but I took a risk-- for the unparalleled unique design. You shall get your partner to gift these shoes to you if he and you are truly in love. Your baby will learn the Alphabets in no time!It would've been 5-star, had it not been for the net height of the heels. I made an insole which elevates the balls of feet only, two layers of foam in the manner of mountain height map-- smaller round foam, and a bigger round foam on top, and a sheet of leather the size of the foot--three layers sewn along the big toe. Then I cut the round foams smaller along the edge to reduce the most pressured part. The thickest part is about 9-10 mm, or 3/8 inch -2/5 inch, then my feet are happy. Perhaps L'Artiste shall make special leather insole for all those shoes whose net heel is above 2 inch. I decided against several pairs of L'Artiste shoes simply due to the impractical height of heels. The other option would be to cut the height of heels. With the insole I custom-made, the net heel is about 6cm or 2 & 2/5 inch, which is still a little bit too high. But I enjoy wearing the shoes much more now. I ordered one size up from my usual 36 to 37.I hope my tip will help those who are concerned about the heel height of the shoes.

If you are a gentleman truly in love, this would be a fantastic gift for your most-confident the other better half! The alphabets around the shoes are very easy to miss. You can expect your baby to learn these alphabets in no time when your better half wears her sun-flower embossed shoes. The shoes need to have lower heels to have broader appeal. My rule of thumb is net 2” heels or lower, i.e., heels height - platform height. Then this design shall lend itself to a series of sun-flower Western bootie, Icon, Swirlytwirly, Debihary, usual Mary Jane, etc. Plus, make matching men’s shoes with alphabets around.Lots of potential!To improve this one, make the tip of the shoes broad beans, like baby’s upward cute full lips.

Can't wait to wear these out . . I'm sure they will be a conversation piece!Size 35/5 fits my size 5C foot perfectly and these are not toe-squeezers so if you have a wide foot I think you will be happy with these.
