Bates Sandals

Spring Step shoes for the win, once again!! :) I really like the style of sandals-with-thongs (? Word? Having a thing between the big and the rest of the toes; kind of gives your foot a little something to grab on to) - But! I have a really ugly bunion on my right foot, so I’ve given up on wearing that style because- yuck. Ugly foot. Until I saw these. And thought “hmmmm… the solid “wrapper” will cover up the ugliness.” (But what if they rub? What if that “wrapper” chafes?) I ordered ‘em anyway and I am So Glad I did, because - they couldn’t be more comfortable or more attractive. “Everything is beautiful and nothing hurts.” Put them on and immediately went for one of my couple-o-mile walks - like walking on air the whole time. The only only tiny thing is that the soles are smooth leather, so your bare feet (well, at least My bare feet lol) - make a little ‘smack’ sound with each step. If you’re not ocd like I am I’m sure you won’t even notice! :)

The sandals were beautifully made, lovely leather. But were to wide for my foot. Sent them back, and wanted my card credited, because I have a very difficult time getting shoes to fit and very rarely order online. They sent me a gift card instead. So I’m waiting to hear back from them. Other than that, it has been a good experience.

They fit perfectly and are very comfortable. Easy to walk around in and they coordinate with so many outfits. I bought the pair in black and they look really great!

Loved to look of these, but they were way too narrow to be comfortable, even half a size up.
