These boots caught my eye because of the leather look. They look great with my usual outfits.

A sad report

I have bought many, many pairs of Spring Step shoes and boots. I have never been disappointed. However, I recently bought these boots, on the second wearing the lift came off the heel and I found the it was made of plastic not rubber and was fitted to the shoes with plastic type pins. I took it to the shoe repair shop in my neighborhood. He said it could not be fixed but that he could replace the lift with a proper rubber one. Needless to say, I had to have both shoes fixed , so that they could be worn together. None of this would matter but I had only worn the boots twice and it cost me $30.00. So even though the boots were on sale when I bought them the repair turned this into an expensive purchase. This was not what I have come to expect from Spring Step shoes.
