Being in Ohio with still 2’ of snow on the ground, I’ve not worn the boots yet, so, was unable to complete that portion of your survey, but, am Happy to report that I’m extremely pleased with EVERYTHING about the boot. This is my second pair of these boots. I now have red and brown. They are extremely comfortable, I can wear them all day. I especially like wearing them to the airport where I know I’ll be doing a lot of walking. I get a compliment every time I wear them. I am an 8, but I always wear an 8 1/2 in boots. I actually forget I have them on, a First with any boots in my collection. I am a true size 7.5, and the 38 fits Perfectly with medium weight socks. If you are a true size 8 or 8.5, then buy size 39. I get compliments every time I wear them too, the layered leather colors and sweet designs make them truly unique. I wish there were more colors: Metallic Gold, Silver, medium turquoise and Cream /off white. Spring Step has the fastest shipping too, which is so nice. Highly Recommended, get some before they're Gone! ♥
