These far surpassed my expectations so much so, that I ordered a 2nd pair in blue. I get compliments on them all the time!

These are great shoes, but were a bit on the stiff side until I wore them enough to break them in. And the comments! Most friends loved them, one friend thought they were the ugliest things she had ever seen! But I told her I always questioned her taste, so that was that!! Seriously, tho, these shoes will brighten up your day…just break them in to soften them, and you’ll be glad you bought them. Also, they’re very well made and will last me a long time.

I'm not sure why these feel small on my feet, they fit me more like what a 41 would fit than a 42. They could stand to be a bit longer, but no wider - at least for my needs. But tight laces help. Not sure how I feel yet about the newspaperesque rubber soles - though it is interesting - kind of an old-timey ad sort of thing. But I love the feminine sequin and floral uppers!
