MUGGIASTI gives the traditional four-eyelet Oxford brogue a richly textured L'Artiste update. Plaid wool-blend textile is paired with burnished and polished leather for a sophisticated mix of pattern and color, while rainbow stitching adds a subtle signature accent.

The lace-up construction provides a secure, adjustable fit, while the padded insole and crepe-textured rubber sole support comfortable everyday wear. A heavy stitched welt reinforces the handcrafted character.

Beautiful But Need Support

These L'Artiste MUGGIASTI Shoes are beautiful shoes. I bought the black multi from Nordstrom.com size 39. I was afraid to buy size 38 as I am a solid size 8. Size 39 is quite roomy. It is a European shoe, so the toe box is wider. With a light-weight sock, I cannot lace the shoe any tighter. This may come in handy with fall approaching. While L'Artiste MUGGIASTI Shoes are beautiful, there is little to no support. I am going to have to buy a pair of arch supports. As another review stated, I wish they made these with a thicker sole. I would prefer a "lug-type" sole. I just received them, so I have not worn them other than to try on the shoes. The sole appears to be non-slip. I want to buy more especially with the Labor Day Sale, but I need to wear them at work first.

I will agree with one other reviewer that the sole seems a bit thin compared to the quality of other shoes I've purchased. I suppose I expected something a bit more sturdy.
