They were very shiny and cute. They just didn’t fit as expected.

These boots are so sharp and comfortable but I’m not surprised since this is probably my 12th pair of Spring Step shoes/boots in 2 years. I am very drawn to their styles and colors, so it seems I’m obsessed with them. :)

On my computer, these show a rather bright red boot with a darkened toe. In person that is not the case at all - they are "mahogany" which is much darker and redish brown. I'm fine with that and can use that color, but I was hoping to get the real red ones. They are very comfy if you order the next size up. I usually order 38s but needed the 39. It took FOREVER to do the exchange because I think my "helper" was new. But I finally got the 39s and they're great.

I really wanted to like these bit the fit was wrong for me unlike my other spring step boots I wish they would bring back hellewn

I wore these boots on a winter trip to Belgium and they helped me traverse the cobble stone roads in Brussels without tripping, keeping my feet steady and stylish. I added my own padded insert from Amazon and wore thick socks since it’s 36 degrees there and it helped me wear these boots up to 15,000 steps a day. It’s awesome as far as soft leather feel and two zippers, one on each side which is a game changer for getting thick socks in and out of the shoe like a breeze. I changed into my Nike air max 270 for the 22k steps day we had to give you an idea of what these boots can do! I love them 😍

While these boots are awesome…I can believe that I received a RED pair instead of burgundy as I requested…When I purchased these boots Red wasn’t even an option Returning….

Ordered the dark green color Sz 38, too small to wear with socks.The color dark green was exactly as shown on the website. Returned for exchange for Sz 39. The green color is not as dark as shown on the website and like the dark green Sz 38. Plan to take to a shoe repair to find out if the green color can be made to look like the “dark” green shown on the website. Will purchase L’Artiste in the future but will stay away from the other collections offered by SpringStep.

Really comfy and supportive - especially with the pads. Spent a whole day sight-seeing in NYC and still comfortable.

I was able to break them in in one day. They are easy to wear and to dance in as well. I’m happy with my purchase.

I wear a 9.5 and order a 41 in L’Artiste shoes. This is my third purchase and i am very disappointed. They run narrow and are quite right across the vamp but still manage to be too wide at the heel so my heels slip which makes a terrible farting noise when I walk, both with socks and without. The leather does not look high quality and I think the worst part is the “burnished” toe which looks like a thick shiny black stripe on mine. Terrible waste of money.
