Pretty shoe but…

When I tried them on, it was obvious that L’Artiste is inconsistent in sizing their shoes. Additionally the sole is very flexible. That was not indicated in the description. I do recommend this shoe but you’ll probably need to size up. If you need a durable sole, I don’t recommend this shoe. Also the tan color has too many black spots in the leather. The flowers are so pretty though.

Very Unique

These sandals are very unique, however I felt like my toes were too squished together, making it uncomfortable to walk. I really like the beige color, but sadly had to return to due to comfort issues. Also, I did not care for the strap in the back, as it is slightly too short, so you can see the part of the velcro when fastened.

I have many pairs of L'Artiste shoes and this is the second time I've hat a fit problem. I have two pairs with a similar ankle strap design, and they both fit great. This time the ankle strap is too small to go around my ankle, meaning I can't fasten the shoes. It seems like maybe the ankle strap doesn't go high enough on the leg, so it is more having to close around part of the heel. Have to return. They look great, but have issues.

Love these shoe except I ruin a $15 pair of pantyhose with the Velcro. You need to do a different closure .

I love these shoes!

These are my favorite pair of shoes in my closet. I love the hand-painted leather; it looks so rich and really makes the floral details pop. I bought them in teal, but I would also get them in both black and orange if money was no object. They are comfortable and I get complements whenever I wear them. My only criticism is that the velcro strip on the shoe needs to be longer for those of us with skinny ankles. The strap ends up being a little loose on me. Shipping was fast! These definitely fit like a 9.5 rather than a 10. They fit my 9.5 sized feet perfectly.
